Hunger in Haiti is the worst it has ever been – over 60% of the population is struggling to eat. To improve the health and nutrition of the most vulnerable families, Children’s Health Ministries provides meal packs to families graduating from our malnutrition programs and other struggling families. The meal packs contain corn meal, beans, and oil, and provide some of the most often lacking nutrients in children’s diets: whole grains, protein, and fat.

MarieMarie is a very sweet lady who has four children and is mostly blind. She used to be successful selling produce in the market, but her eyesight continued to worsen and she was unable to count money or her produce items so she had to stop. Her husband also passed away around the same time, so she was struggling greatly to feed her children. She now receives meal packs from CHM to keep her and the kids healthy.
