Emano is our longest serving employee and Community Health Worker. Though he is uneducated, Emano has saved hundreds of lives through his advocacy and dedication to helping children. Emano says, “Sometimes when I get home, there are 4 or 5 parents waiting for me to go with them to their houses to evaluate their children. Of course I go!” Emano recently walked an hour up the mountain to evaluate this child, who, thanks to Emano, has now been admitted for malnutrition treatment and will soon make a full recovery.
