Healthcare doesn’t happen without electricity, and our generator is the most important source of electricity for the clinic! We rely as much as possible on solar power and public electricity, but it is not sufficient to run the amount of medical equipment we need on a day to day basis. Our generator is diesel powered. In the current crisis in Haiti the cost of fuel has skyrocketed, and is only available on the black market.
